From blueprints to the streets of Chicago!

For this year's Fulton Market Design Days (June 8–10), Chicago's West Loop transformed into an incredible outdoor design showcase.

 

Our colleagues at TAF USA are proud to have been a part of it, supporting Daniel Rieke and the Public Display LLC project with our FTB-L truss system. What you can’t see from the outside of this impressive 12.19 x 7.62 x 3.96 m (40 x 25 x 13 ft) pavilion is its structural core – the entire internal framework was built using our FTB-L 304.80 mm (12 in) bolted trusses. 

 

Building a temporary structure of this scale right on the city street requires absolute precision and reliable gear. The TAF USA team utilized our FTB-L truss to do exactly what it was designed for: providing rock-solid stability and a smooth, seamless assembly on-site. 

 

The final pavilion looked incredible and became one of the main highlights of the event. Great job, team!
