Bringing the Sky to the London Boat Show

The Fairline yacht manufacturer was looking to “make a splash” with its booth at the London Boat Show, which was held in the Excel Exhibition Center in London. Water was the first thing that came to mind, but in this case, it was a little too difficult to arrange. The “sky” was then selected as a suitable replacement.

 

With this direction in place, we designed and delivered a unique flying rig with custom facia and “sky” mesh banner that hung above extensive presentation of Fairline boats. If water was missing, at least the expansive space above it could make it to the show!

 

The structure, which was split into different sections, featured our medium-duty FT33 triangle truss and measured 80 m x 40 m (262 ft x 131 ft).
